Campaign Story

My name is April and I’m reaching out with a deeply personal and heartfelt request. From 2022-2023 I faced an incredibly challenging battle with breast cancer. After undergoing rigorous treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation, I’m beyond grateful to be in remission. But as many cancer warriors know, the road to recovery is often long and filled with new challenges.

One of those challenges for me has been the impact cancer treatment has had on my fertility. My dreams of becoming a mother were put on hold while I focused on my health, but now, my husband and I are ready to start a family.

We were fortunate to have been able to freeze embryos prior to treatment and plan to proceed with an embryo transfer to give us a chance at becoming parents. However, this process is not only emotionally overwhelming but also financially burdensome.

This is where I need your help.

The costs associated with medication, and the embryo transfer are significant, and not covered by insurance. I’m asking for your support to help us take this next step towards parenthood. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in this process.
